"Amusing"

It's tough to make an animation to a song that already has a music video. Because, of course, comparisons are going to be made.

However, you've managed to create a very amusing animation if a little simplistic in places.

There's alot of similarities to the official video present, which feel more like pleasing references rather than just a lack of creativity on your behalf.

Good show, I say.

Pretty smooth animation and the likes. Nice character design, too. Especially the lizard.

But it just feels like you slapped a few things in there for the sake of it. I know it's just a showcase of the 12 principles. But it's kick-in-the-crotch obviouse that the cloth around the robots waist was just to demonstrate secondary motion.

It's just they're so obviouse they become quite distracting from the actual animation.

But the rest of it is top notch.

You've really nailed the family movie comedy. "You can /alpha/bet on it and the 'try' joke were my favourites. The king E was also a nice touch.

It's a tough job to make the alphabet funny.

As for the actual movie - I love it. You've managed to create a convincing faux-trailer that reminds me of monsters inc. for some reason.

And for you to create it in such a small space of time is pretty amazing.

Over all - great flash.
Keep it up.

"Informative if a little bland."

The information is the only selling point of this flash. There's no real hook to draw you in and the only motion to speak of is a cylinder head tweened up and down to loosely simulate lip syncing.

I can understand you would find a work around to avoid lip syncing the whole of that. But considering it's the only thing the audience looks at - it's noticeably cheap.

As for the dialouge - it's got a nice flow and is recorded clearly. As for content - it's nothing you can't learn from going to the 'lit' section of this site. It does offere a pleasant alternative to reading, though. So I guess that's an upside.

All in all.
Bland concept with good production qualities.

Although some bits felt sloppy - the octopus turning - for example. You've managed to give a face-less feature-less character a tonne of personality. Good job on that front.

I've always had a soft spot for your token saturday-morning-cartoon-esque art style you put into these flashes of yours. It's lovely.

"Double standards in reviews."

I like how alot of the kids complaining about this have submissions like the madness series and movies of a similar vein in their favourits.

How can they be for one type of violent movie and against this? It just doesn't add up.

The flash itself is mediocre at best. A simple one button control system (the button graphic itself is taken straight from a sample given with flash) and the animation is rough and jumpy.

All in all, this wouldn't be worth as much if it weren't for the fact that reading the reviews to this offers some cheap laughs.

I've always enjoyed this style of game. Where the idea (find A, give it to B, so C happens) is simple yet manages to stay fun for quite some time.

My only qualm with the game is the controls. The majority of the game is played with the mouse, selecting characters/objects etc... the only use for the keyboard is to move the player. I can't help but to get the feeling that, the game would have that much more ease-of-use if the controls were 100% mouse, Click on the map - the character follows - repeat, which could eliminate all the fiddly key pressing.

Maybe that's just me being lazy though. Great game anyway.
